Here is a list of, what I consider, to be the top 200 albums of all time.  Some may agree with the list, some may not.  But, you would be hard pressed to find an album on this list that has not made a monumental and lasting impression on all the music that followed.

Items shown in light grey are in the top 100.  Items shown in light blue fall in the 101 to 200 range.

The links in the list will take you to the wikipedia website where you can find out more about the artists and albums.

Below is the list in the order in which the album was recorded.  For the ultimate listening experience, I recommend that you listen to the following albums in this order.  This will give you a true appreciation for just how revolutionary most of these recordings were for their time.
